AUSTIN, Texas, September 26, 2026: Little Dove Psychology, a virtual group psychology practice based in Austin, is now in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and Optum/UnitedHealthcare for both therapy and psychological testing. Families across Texas can use their insurance for therapy for children, teens, and college students, and for ADHD, autism, and dyslexia evaluations for ages 6 through 55.

The practice's average time from first contact to a first therapy appointment is five days, and evaluations are typically scheduled within one week. Every family begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation with founder Kristin Kroll, PhD.

“Parents shouldn't have to choose between waiting months for an evaluation and paying thousands out of pocket,” said Dr. Kroll. “Being in network with the plans most Texas families carry means a parent who is worried about their child this week can actually get help this week.”

Dr. Kroll trained as a pediatric psychologist at Children's Wisconsin, where she was the attending psychologist for the cystic fibrosis clinic and the pediatric heart transplant team and helped launch the hospital's telehealth mental health program. She is the author of Pediatric Psychology in Clinical Practice: Empirically Supported Interventions (Cambridge University Press). Little Dove Psychology treats anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, emotion regulation, school refusal, and family conflict, and supports children living with chronic medical conditions.
